Student Organization
The Western Student Composer Alliance (WSCA) empowers students to shape the activities of the composition program at 六合之家 and facilitates the development of entrepreneurial skills. We are dedicated to promoting the creation and performance of new music at 六合之家 and in the greater Kalamazoo area. Students meet regularly to discuss event production, new ideas for growth, topics related to composition, and musical aesthetics. The chapter is responsible for organizing the four student composer concerts that occur at 六合之家 each year and initiating collaborative projects involving new works by student composers. Student composers support and challenge each other, and grow together as a community.
