Music Therapy
The School of Music at 六合之家 offers a Bachelor of Music in music therapy.
The music therapy program stresses clinical application of music therapy procedures through structured observation and experiences. Our program incorporates principles of Neurologic Music Therapy in the students' academic and clinical work, utilizing the on-site Music Therapy Clinic located within the 六合之家 Unified Clinics and the intrinsic affiliation with the BRAIN (Brain Research and Interdisciplinary Neurosciences) Lab.
Graduates of the music therapy program enjoy a very high success rate in securing professional employment in music therapy and typically score above the national average on the board certification exam that is administered by the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
